ABOUT BEATSTORM

Where Producers Battle.
The World Decides.

Beatstorm is the first global, territory-based beat battle platform. We believe the best music wins when the crowd listens — not when labels, algorithms, or follower counts decide.

HOW IT WORKS

01

Upload Your Beat

Submit your original beat. Every submission goes through a quick quality review before entering the battle queue.

02

Get Matched

Our system automatically pairs you with another producer from the same territory. No manual scheduling, no waiting for DMs.

03

The Crowd Votes Blind

Your battle runs for 48 hours. Listeners vote without knowing who made what. Pure music, zero bias.

04

Rise or Learn

Results go live immediately. Win or lose, you get real feedback from a global audience and your stats update on the leaderboard.

OUR MISSION

"Give every producer on earth a fair shot — regardless of where they are, who they know, or how many followers they have."

We built Beatstorm because the music industry has always rewarded access over talent. A kid with a laptop in Lagos, Berlin, or São Paulo deserves the same stage as someone with a major-label budget. Territory-based battles create local rivalries and global leaderboards — the same way sports work.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Beatstorm?

Beatstorm is a global, territory-based beat battle platform where music producers compete head-to-head. Producers upload their beats, get matched with an opponent from the same city or region, and the community votes — completely blind, without knowing who made what.

How does a beat battle work on Beatstorm?

After uploading your beat and passing a quality review, you are automatically matched with another producer from the same territory. The battle runs for 48 hours during which anyone can listen and vote. The beat with the most votes wins. Results and stats are published immediately after.

Is Beatstorm free to use?

Yes — Beatstorm is completely free for producers and voters alike. Create an account, upload your beat, and start battling at no cost.

How are battle winners determined?

Winners are determined purely by community votes. Voting is blind — listeners hear both beats without knowing the producer's name or identity. This ensures the music speaks for itself. The beat with the higher vote count at the end of the 48-hour window wins.

What music genres can I upload to Beatstorm?

Beatstorm focuses on urban music: Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Drill, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Latin Urban, Amapiano, and related genres. Each territory has its own genre focus reflecting the local scene.

How do I upload my beat to Beatstorm?

Sign up for a free account, go to the Battle section, and upload your beat as an audio file. Our team reviews every submission before it enters the battle queue to ensure quality. Once approved, you'll be matched automatically.

Is my music protected on Beatstorm?

You retain full ownership of your music at all times. By uploading to Beatstorm you grant us a limited licence to stream your beat within the platform for the purpose of battles and voting. We do not claim any ownership or publishing rights.

Which cities and countries is Beatstorm available in?

Beatstorm currently runs active battles in Berlin and London, with territories open across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia — including New York, Los Angeles, Lagos, São Paulo, Seoul, and more. New territories unlock as the community grows.

How long does a battle last?

Standard battles run for 48 hours. If a battle is very close near the deadline it may be extended automatically to give the community more time to vote.

Who can join Beatstorm as a producer?

Anyone can join Beatstorm — professional producers, bedroom beatmakers, and hobbyists alike. All skill levels are welcome. The only requirement is that you submit original music that you own or have the rights to.
